We’re situated amongst the vibrant and engaging communities of the Hudson Valley and western Connecticut. Visit Millerton, Amenia or Wassaic, NY and Sharon, CT by complimentary bicycle. Zipline Catamount in summer or ski it in winter. Hike, fly fish, ride horseback, gravel or mountain bike, take a farm tour, visit a distillery, a bookstore or any number of beautiful shops nearby. Truly, there is something for everyone. Troutbeck is active with arts and cultural programming, with curated events on property and off all year.

A RUSH OF SPRING: MAY IS HERE

May brings glorious evolution, not to mention warm days on the tennis courts, our Pool and Pool Grill opening (May 23!) and so much hubbub on property and nearby.

Few months have such transformative powers as May. In a week all will be lush green and the pops of color will proliferate until we are in full, intoxicating bloom. Plan your escape upstate with us for May to hear the hum of Spring (and you do here), to taste the beans, peas, mushrooms and asparagus on your plates. It's time to snooze on a screened in porch, on the grass, in the sun.

Chef Vinny Gilberti's SPRING menu is gloriously green with pink and peachy accents, just like the outdoors. New dishes not to be missed include red rock shrimp with shrimp-head vinaigrette and homegrown oxalis; asparagus soup with peekytoe crab; and roast chicken with morel mushrooms, English peas + spinach.
